Second semester starts February 2
I would like to take a moment to recognize how far we have come together this school year. Thanks to the hard work of our students, staff, and families, we are making meaningful progress toward our school goals—and that momentum matters.
Our goals:
- 90% attendance for every student
- 90% pass rate
- Math-achieve 60 minutes on Success Maker weekly and at least 60% of questions answered correctly
- 100% of students involved in an extra-curricular activity
Across classrooms and hallways, we are seeing strong instruction, growing student engagement, and a continued commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and focused learning environment. Our students are rising to expectations, our staff continues to collaborate and reflect on what works best for kids, and our families remain important partners in this work.
A key part of our continued progress is the partnership between families and the school. We encourage parents and guardians to regularly check their student’s academic progress, attendance, and assignments using ParentVUE. Staying informed allows families and teachers to work together early, celebrate successes, and address concerns before they grow. When parents and schools stay connected and communicate often, students are best supported and positioned for success.
The start of a new semester is also a great opportunity to reset, refocus, and recommit. We will continue prioritizing academic growth, positive behavior, and a culture where every student feels valued and supported. Progress does not happen overnight, but it does happen when we stay consistent, work together, and keep our shared goals at the center of our decisions.
- Work together
- Stay focused on our goals
Thank you for being part of our school community and for the role you play in helping our students succeed. I am excited for what the second semester will bring and confident that, together, we will continue moving in the right direction.
